Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is known for its varied ecosystems, from lush rainforests to alpine landscapes on Mount Meru. Located close to Arusha town, it’s easily accessible for day trips. The park is home to giraffes, zebras, and colobus monkeys. Visitors can hike up Mount Meru, the fifth highest peak in Africa, or enjoy game drives around Momella Lakes, where flamingos flock. The Ngurdoto Crater within the park is another scenic spot. Canoeing on the lakes offers a different safari perspective. Despite its small size, the park packs a diverse wildlife and scenic punch.
