If you didn’t have your safari briefing yesterday, we’ll go over all the essential details after breakfast. Then, it’s time to embark on your first adventure! We head westward on a scenic two-hour (120km) drive to Tarangire National Park, where we’ll enjoy lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive.

Tarangire is a vast and diverse park, known for its impressive elephant herds and breathtaking landscapes. Often overshadowed by Serengeti, this park is a hidden gem teeming with wildlife, including buffalo, lions, wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. Keep an eye out for lesser-seen species like kudu and oryx.

After an early breakfast, we say goodbye to Tarangire and embark on an exciting 5.5-hour (280km) journey northwest to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. As the landscapes shift from baobab-studded woodlands to the vast open savannah, take the opportunity to engage with your driver-guide, your walking encyclopedia of Tanzania’s culture, history, and wildlife. By the time you arrive at Serengeti’s gates, you’ll already feel like a safari expert!
Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy lunch before diving into our first thrilling Serengeti game drive.

Your afternoon game drive is a thrilling introduction to the Serengeti’s drama. The only guarantee? You’ll be amazed. Whether it’s a lion stalking its prey, a leopard resting in an acacia tree, or a herd of elephants moving gracefully across the plains, every turn brings a new, breathtaking spectacle.

Full-Day Safari Adventure – Serengeti National Park
Today, we dedicate the entire day to exploring the legendary Serengeti, particularly the Seronera region, known for its diverse landscapes and exceptional wildlife sightings.
Seronera River – A lifeline for the park’s inhabitants, attracting an array of animals year-round. Watch as hippos wallow, crocodiles lurk, and herds gather to quench their thirst.
Kopjes – Nature’s Lookout Towers – These ancient granite formations provide the perfect vantage points for big cats. Lions often lounge on them, scanning the horizon, while leopards use them as secluded dining spots after a successful hunt.
Seasonal Wonders – If you’re visiting in May, November, or December, you may witness the Great Migration as massive wildebeest herds temporarily join Serengeti’s resident wildlife—a breathtaking spectacle!

After breakfast, we take a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater—often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World." Descending into the crater, get ready for a spectacular game drive where you might spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) all in one place! The crater floor is also home to flamingos, hippos, and the rare black rhino. It’s a truly unforgettable experience.
