The Drive:
We leave behind the city’s bustle and head west toward Lake Manyara National Park, a two-hour (130km) journey filled with Tanzania’s vibrant roadside life—expect to see Maasai herdsmen in colorful shukas guiding their livestock and locals going about their daily routines. As we drive, your guide will start revealing the fascinating stories behind Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and cultures.

Afternoon: Lake Manyara National Park Safari

After a refreshing picnic lunch, we embark on an exciting game drive through this lush paradise. Manyara is famous for its diverse habitats—from dense groundwater forests to open grassy plains and the expansive alkaline lake.

  • Duration: ~5 hours (but with plenty to see along the way!)

  • En Route Highlights: Rolling hills, Maasai villages, and the vast landscapes of the Great Rift Valley

  • If it’s migration season, expect to see endless herds of wildebeests & zebras on their epic journey across the plains.

Before saying goodbye to the Serengeti, we set off on one final morning game drive, exploring the Seronera region, where wildlife thrives thanks to the permanent waters of the Seronera River.

Journey to Ngorongoro - A Road Through the Wild

Drive: Serengeti ➝ Ngorongoro Crater (145km, ~3.5 hours)
After our morning safari, we fuel up with lunch in the bush, then start our drive towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
